Marine Parade, Great Yarmouth, NR30 2DL.

When looking to visit Joyland, entry is free. Tokens for rides can be purchased at the token hut.

Token prices (these were correct as of the 28/07/2024):
1 token - £2
12 tokens - £20
25 tokens - £40

Joyland is open to the public at 11am. There is no set closing time as they decide on the day based off the weather and how busy they are.

We spent around 45 minutes there. We could have spent longer there if we went on more rides, however this would have cost more money. We purchased 12 tokens.

At Joyland there were 9 main rides which are 1 token per person to ride. There were also some coin operated small rides jotted around. They also had a photo purchasing stall which were for photos taken on the snails, the spooky express and the jet cars. One photo was £7 and two photos were £10. They also had other deals available which included magnets and keyrings.

The boys favourite ride was the child's ferris wheel due to how smooth it was and how much of the park they could see from the top.

There is no allocated car park for Joyland, however there are plenty of pay and display carparks available. We parked at the royal assembly rooms for £8 which was all day parking.

This day out could be paired with Great Yarmouth beach, Sea Life and the Merrivale Model Village.

While at Joyland there was no where to purchase food or have a picnic, however the beach is next to Joyland which would be an idle place for a beach picnic.
When we visited, our eldest was 3 years old and our youngest was 22 months old. We found this day out to be aimed at children under 12, however adults and older children were allowed on the rides too.

We didn't find any toilets at Joyland, however there are toilets on the beach by the large ferris wheel and on Brittania Pier which is next to Joyland. There are also plenty of pubs and cafes near by which have toilets.
The paths were smooth and flat, which meant we did not struggle to push the pushchair around.

Overall, we would not visit again. When we saw staff they were friendly and the queues went down quite quickly, however we found the token prices expensive, the time on the rides wasn't long, parts of the park needed to be replaced (the snail we were on had the back rest loose), we didn't like the fact we didn't know what time they were closing that day so had to make sure we were there when they opened and there was not a lot of rides to choose from so have rated this day out 2 stars out of 5.
