We spent around 2 1/2 hours there. We could easily have spent at least another hour if we had lunch during our visit.

At Wookey hole, there was animatronic dinosaurs, a large gorilla, a cave to go through, a small museum, a gift shop and adventure golf.

Our favourite area was the cave. This was guided and we learnt a lot about the caves at Wookey Hole. Many of the cave walls were lit up to be able to see them in their full glory.

There is plenty of parking available in a hard surface carpark. There is also disabled parking spaces available. Parking is free of charge.

While at Wookey Hole, you can stop for something to eat at either their restaurant or seasonal ice-cream parlour. We found these prices to be in line with typical day out prices. You can bring your own picnic and there is a picnic area both inside and outside.
When we visited, our eldest was 13 months old and I was 5 months pregnant with our youngest. We found this to be a fun family day out, however we felt children from the age of 3 plus would have been more suited.

We found two blocks of toilets, one block inside the attraction and the other by the main entrance in the carpark of the attraction, which changing facilities were in available. Accessibility toilets were also available.

The paths were tarmacked which meant we would not have struggled to push our pushchair around. There was pushchair parking outside of the beginnings of the cave as they are not permitted into the caves.

Overall, we would visit again if we were in the area. When we saw staff, they were friendly and helpful to us. The land the attraction had was quite large, however we felt there could have been a lot more things added to this attraction to help make it more of a full day out, like a children's play park, and we also felt the pricing was quite high for what is there to do, therefore we have rated this day out 3 1/2 stars out of 5.
