Dogs are not allowed to visit the Model Village.

The Model Village is open to the public daily 10am-5:30pm during the summer time and 10am-3:30pm during the winter time.

We spent around 20 minutes here.

At the Model Village, you get to walk around a miniature version of Bourton on the Water. There is a small gift shop and a restaurant.

The boys loved being able to see where abouts in Bourton on the Water they were by finding the Model Village inside the Model Village.

There is plenty of parking available in a pay and display car park next to the maze. We used the 'pay by phone' app to purchase our ticket. We paid £10.10 for £10 hours as we decided to also visit the model village and birdland while we were visiting.

While at the Model Village, there is a restaurant. There is no where to eat a picnic, however there are many grass spots in front of the river outside of the Model Village where a picnic can be eaten.

When we visited, our eldest was 4 years old and our youngest was 2 1/2 years old.

We found one block of toilets by the entrance.

We found the pathways were quite smooth and there were were some steps jotted around. Pushchairs are not allowed in the attraction and there is a pushchair parking area by the entrance.

Overall, I don't think we would visit again. We weren't inside the Model Village for very long, they only accepted card payments in the gift shop and entrance, and for the price of the entrance fee I feel everything should have been included, however there was an additional £1 coin entry fee for the 'exhibition of miniatures'. We also felt there could have been more interactive elements throughout the model village as the only additional interactive thing they had was an upside down periscope. We found the Model Village buildings were in great condition and we found it intersting that inside the Modelled Model Village, you could another Modelled Model Village inside, therefore we have rated this day out 3 1/2 stars out of 5.
