The Ice Cream Farm is open to the public daily 9:30am-5pm.

We spent just under 5 hours there.

At The Ice Cream Farm, there was an outdoor park area included in your ticket entry, a soft play (token needed), sand and water play barn (token needed), mini golf (token needed), bouncing pillow (token needed), gemstone hunting (token needed), disco and arcade (token needed), ride on tractors and cars (£2 contactless payment needed), sit on diggers (£2 contactless payment needed), a gift shop, restaurant, food huts and an ice cream parlour.

Our favourite part was the sand and water barn. The boys loved being able to choose the waters route by using the obstacles there to divert the waters travel.

There is plenty of parking available in a gravel style carpark. There is also disabled parking spaces available. Parking was free of charge.

While at The Ice Cream Farm, you can stop for something to eat at their restaurant, food huts or ice cream parlour, or sit at one of their many outdoor picnic benches for a home packed lunch. We did not find any shelter for these outdoor eating areas except from the Pit Stop benches however food from the Pit Spot had to be purchased to be able to sit there. For an adult's burger at the restaurant, this was £8 plus an additional £4 if you wanted to turn this into a meal and add on a drink and chips. For a 2 scooped ince cream on a normal cone from the ice cream parlour, this was £5.50 plus an additional 60p were topping and 25p per sauce.

When we visited, our eldest was almost 4 old and our youngest was 2 1/2 years old. We found this day out was best suited for 7 years and under (apart from the disco and arcade section).

We found a set of toilets inside/near every attraction.

We found the pathways wide and mostly flat, therefor did not struggle with our pushchair. Inside the soft play, buggy parking is available.

Overall, I do not believe we would travel specifically for this day out in the future. We loved the design of the attraction as it was all ice cream themed, however we felt there could have been more included in the £2.50 entry price. We found it a shame that there was no indoor seating for picnics, especially with how large the ice cream parlour seating was and how empty it was when we visited, one of the water pumps in the sand and water barn was not working (with no sign to say this meaning the boys could not work out why no water was coming out), we found the soft play small for the price charged to be in there for 60 minutes, the play passes cannot be used on everything as there were additional £2 contactless card payment ride ons and the snow machine goes off every hour (there is a countdown on the tree) but this lasted less than a minute each time (I feel this should have lasted either longer or should be on more frequently). In addition to this, what we found the most disappointing, was there was cleaning maintence being carried out on the mini golf. There was no mention of this on their website and we wasted a lot of time in the outdoor play park and walking round to be able to go on this later on in the day (work started around 10:30am and finished at 2:30pm). We understand maintenance is required for attractions however when the mini golf was reopened we did not get the full experience as the strawberry ice cream water fall was not turned on, therefore we have rated this day out 2.5 stars out of 5.
