London Zoo is open to the public daily. They open at 10am, however their closing times depend on the time of the year. The earliest they shut is 3pm and the latest they shut is 5pm.

We spent around 4 hours there. The weather was on and off rain. We could have easily have spent another hour or so here if it was sunnier and if we stayed for lunch.

At London Zoo, there was a variety of different animals to see. This included tigers, lions, giraffes, pygmy hippos, and many more. There was a park area, gift shops, walk in lemur area, walk in mokey valley area, walk through butterfly house, walk in farm area, food huts and a restaurant.

Our favourite part was seeing the lions. When we visited they recently had cubs, which we got to see explore the enclosures. They had a large enclosure which was decorated amazingly.

Throughout the park, we found they made a huge effort on the appearance of the zoo. It was an experience in itself just seeing the way they decorated the enclosures and the walkthroughs for these.

There is plenty of parking available in a hard surface carpark. There is also disabled parking spaces available. Parking if attending the zoo was £16 for the day.

While at London Zoo, you can stop for something to eat at either their restaurant, cafe or their huts which are jotted around the attraction. There are also plenty of spaces to sit for a packed lunch. We decided to walk into camden after, which was around a 15 minute walk from the zoo, to get some food.

When we visited, our eldest was 3 1/2 years old and our youngest was 2 years old. We found this day out had something for everyone, no matter your age.

We found toilets jotted around the attraction and there were also toilets in the restaurant where changing facilities and accessibility toilets were also available.

We found the pathways wide and flat, therefore did not struggle with the double pushchair.

Overall, we would happily drive here to visit again. When we saw staff, they were friendly and helpful to us. This included the volunteers who loved sharing lots of information on each of the animals. The land the attraction had was quite large and there was a variety of animals to visit, however due to the price of the parking on top of the ticket pricing, we have rated this day out 4 1/2 stars out of 5.
