When looking to visit Legoland Discovery Centre Manchester, you can pre-book tickets online and pay on the door, however there is a discount by pre-booking your ticket. They also offer adult and pre-schooler tickets at a discounted rate.

Legoland Discovery Centre Manchester is open to the public daily. Their opening times differ throughout the year however range 10am-6pm. Please view their last entry times online as this is typically around 2 1/2 hours before they shut.

We spent around 2 hours there. We could have easily have spent longer if we stayed for lunch. We visited off peak, which meant there was no time frame for us to leave, however during peak times you are guarateed 2 hours here but cannot be promised longer due to the amount of people who could be visiting.

At the Legoland Discovery Centre, there was a variety of different activity stations to do in the main area. This included driving push around cars/scooters, making cars and putting them down ramps, general lego building, a small soft play for younger children, a larger soft play for older children, a 4D cinema, an interactive ride and an activity workshop. There was also many lego creations to view, a cafe and a gift shop.

One of our favourite parts was the creative workshop. The boys were tasked with a challenge to build a birthday cake out of lego and they received a lego figure at the end.
Our second favourite part was the 4D cinema. This was a short lego movie where wind, flashes of light and water is used to make the movie seem more realistic.

There is plenty of parking available in the traffod palazzo carpark. There is also disabled parking spaces available. Parking was free of charge.

While at the Legoland Discovery Centre, you can stop for something to eat at their cafe. There weren;t any picnic benches to eat your own lunch, however there were benches located outside of the centre in the trafford palazzo where you could eat a pack lunch. For a child's lunchbox which included a sandwich, snack, piece of fruit and juice carton was £5.95.
When we visited, our eldest was almost 4 years old and o
ur youngest was 2 1/2 years old. We found this day out had something for everyone in the family.

The main toilets we found onsite was upstairs near the main area. However there are also toilets available in the main trafford palazzo centre.
​
We found the pathways wide. We did not take the pushchair inside with us however there was buggy parking available downstairs.
​
Overall, we would happily drive here to visit again. We loved seeing all the lego displays and found the ride and 4D cinema entertaining. The only thing that lets this attraction down is that they cannot promise you more than 2 hours during busy peak times, therefore we have rated this day out 4.5 stars out of 5.
