House of Marbles, The Old Pottery, Pottery Road, Bovey Tracey, Newton Abbot, TQ13 9DS.

When looking to visit House of Marbles, you just need to turn up on the day. Entry to the museum is free of charge.

House of Marbles is open to the public daily 9am-5pm Monday-Saturday and 10am-5pm Sundays.

Dogs are allowed everywhere apart from the main restaurant area.

We spent around 2 hours there, which included having something to eat in their restaurant.

At House of Marbles, there were many marbles to view, a games garden with a play park, a gift shop, a restaurant and a glassworks studio.

Our favourite part was the games garden. The boys loved picking up the marbles, putting them in their bowls and dropping them down the marble shoot.

There is plenty of parking available in a hard surface carpark. There is also disabled parking spaces available. Parking is free of charge.

While at House of Marbles, you can stop for something to eat at their restaurant. A child's chicken nuggets, chips and peas were £6.50 and a cheesy chips was £4.95. There were also outdoor picnic benches to enjoy your own food.

When we visited, our eldest was 3 1/2 years old and our youngest was 22 months. We found this day out had something for everyone, no matter your age.

We found one set of toilets in the attraction. Changing facilities and accessibility toilets were also available.

We did not take the pushchair with us, however the pathways were smooth so I don't think we would have struggled with a single pushchair. I'm unsure whether the double would have fitted due to the width of the pathways. I was however unable to locate a lift to the upstairs gift shop.

Overall, we would visit again if we were in the area. When we saw staff they were friendly and the boys loved pressing the buttons in the marble museum to see the marbles move around. We found the gift shop quite large and we were shocked to find this attraction was free of charge to enter, however as we were unable to locate a lift to the upstairs gift shop we have rated this day out 4 1/2 stars out of 5.
