Green's Windmill and Science Centre, Windmill Lane, Nottingham, NG2 4QB.

When looking to visit Green's Windmill, you just need to turn up on the day. Entry to the windmill and science centre is free of charge.

Green's Windmill is open to the public Wednesday-Sunday 10am-4pm.

We spent around 1 hour there. When we visited it was heavy rain, therefore we could have spent longer here if we went to the park next to the windmill and had a picnic next to the park area.

At Green's Windmill, there was a gift shop, science centre and windmill to explore.
Our favourite part was the science centre. The boys loved playing with the different set ups which included magnets, lights and electricity.

There is plenty of parking available in a hard surface pay and display carpark. Parking was free up to 2 hours, however by using the 'ringgo' app there was a 20p charge.

While at Green's Windmill there was not a cafe, however there was a park area next to the windmill with a field which would have been perfect for a picnic.

When we visited, our eldest was 3 1/2 years old and our youngest was 2 years old. We found this day out had something for everyone, no matter your age.

We found one set of toilets in the attraction. Changing facilities and accessibility toilets were also available.

We took the single pushchair with us, however the access from the carpark we parked in had stairs leading up to the windmill. The staff at the science centre allowed us to park the pushchair inside while we explored the windmill.

Overall, we would visit again if we were in the area. The boys loved being able to play in the educational science centre with a range of activities set up and we were shocked to find this attraction was free of charge to enter, however we do wish they had a cafe on site and their gift shop had a bigger range, therefore we have rated this day out 4 stars out of 5.
