National Nature Reserve, Marsh Lane, Donna Nook, Louth, LN11 7PD.

During the winter months, grey seals come to this Lincolnshire coast to breed. After giving birth, the female seals will remain with their pups for up to 3 weeks before going back to the water to feed themselves.

We spent an hour here, but could have spent longer if we explored the area more by walking the full length of the beach.

The walkway around the nature reserve is sand however as it was well compacted we only struggled with the pushchairs on certain parts. The only area we really struggled with the pushchair was the walk from the car park to the beach as this wasn't as compacted and stairs were involved.

At the nature reserve there was no litter around.

There were two carparks to park. The main hard surfaced car park during the weekends are for disabled badge hodlers and the large grass car park was for other visitors. The hard surfaced car park was free of charge, while the grass car park was £5 cash. During the week, the hard surfaced car park is first come first served.

Dogs are not allowed on this beach.

There were no toilets at this nature reserve that we could find.

There was a grey seal lincolnshire wildlife trust gift shop on site.

Overall, we would travel to visit again. We found being able to view the grey seals in the wild was an amazing experience for us to see. We even saw a pup who had not long been born. The only big downside we had to this walk was the stairs from the grass carpark as it was not pushchair friendly and the fact we could not locate any toilets. As a result, we have rated this walk 4 stars out of 5.
