We spent around 2 1/2 hours there. The weather was on and off rain. We could have easily have spent another hour here it is was not raining.

At Cholderton Rare Breeds Farm, there was a variety of different animals to see. This included highland cows, goats, sheep, guinea pigs, and many more. There were two park areas, a soft play, a gift shop, timetabled activites throughout the day included piglet/lamb races, and a cafe.

Our favourite part was feeding the animals. We got a child's bucket full of animal feed for £6 which lasted quite a while.

There is plenty of parking available in a sandy gravel style carpark, which an additional grass overflow carpark on busier days. There is also disabled parking spaces available. Parking was free of charge.

While at Cholderton Rare Breeds Farm, you can stop for something to eat at their cafe, or sit at one of their many picnic benches for a home packed lunch. For child's lunchbox which included a sandwich, piece of fruit and juice carton was £6.

When we visited, our eldest was 3 1/2 years old and our youngest was 2 years old. We found this day out had something for everyone, no matter your age.

The main toilets we found onsite was in the gift shop/cafe area as you walk in. However we did also find some toilets outside by the goats.

We found the pathways wide and mostly flat, however there is one long stretch of path by the farm animals which has a lot of tree roots causing some difficulty with the pushchair. During wet weather, it also becomes muddy across pretty much the entire farm.

Overall, we would happily drive here to visit again especially when they have a special pricing offer. We loved seeing the rare breeds and the boys enjoyed the soft play, however we felt there could have been more animals and the pathways could be concreted over to make it more suitable for all year use, therefore we have rated this day out 4 stars out of 5.
