Chessington World of Adventures is open March-October with their opening hours typically being 10am-5pm.

We spent the full 7 hours that they were open there. We could have easily have spent another hour here it the park was open longer.

At Chessington World of Adventures there was a variety of different animals to see. This included tigers, gorillas, lions and many more. There was also a park, a few gift shops, theme park and food huts located around the park.

Our favourite part was the Gruffalo ride. We had a 20 minute wait (we went on a school day) and there was interactive sections in the queue to help entertain the boys. Once on the ride, we were impressed by the amount of detail that went into telling the story.

There is plenty of parking available in a hard standing carpark. There is also disabled parking spaces available. Parking was £12.

While at Chessington World of Adventures, you can stop for something to eat at their restaurant, food huts, or sit at one of their many benches for a home packed lunch. A child's cheeseburger was £7.50 or £10.75 with fries from one of their huts.

When we visited, our eldest 4 years old and our youngest was 2 1/2 years old. We found this day out had something for everyone, no matter your age.

Throughout the park was many toilet facilities. The toilets also had a built in toddler seat for younger children.

We found the pathways wide and flat, however there were sections that went uphill. We did not struggle with the pushchair.

Overall, we would visit again if there were any special pricing offers. We visited on their toddler and parent ticket pricing. We loved how big of an area the tigers had, especially their bridge walkway over the pathway and we also liked the detail that went into their Julia Donaldson attractions. In addition to this, we liked the fact they had factor 50 sunscreen and water bottle filling stations throughout the park and had a downloadable phone app to see how long queues were for the rides, however we felt the carpark fee was too high (especially for how tight the car parking spaces were with having children in the car and with the price of the tickets on top of this), we found the giraffe viewing area had a very limited view unless you went on the zufari ride (which our youngest was too short to go on as he was 92cm) and were disappointed with our unlimited digital photos we paid for as the river raft ride was not taking pictures that day (which we were only told about once we went to see the pictures and not before going on the ride), therefore we have rated this day out 3 1/2 stars out of 5.
