Atwell-Wilson Motor Museum is open to the public during peak season (April-October) Tuesday-Sunday 11am-5pm and off-peak season (November and March) Thursday-Sunday 11am-4pm. The museum is closed December-February.

We spent just over 1 hour there.

At the Atwell-Wilson Motor Museum, there was a range of cars and motorcycles to view. There was also a small children's play area which included an old arcade machine.

Our eldest loved walking around viewing all the vehicles and there was even one vehicle which was in the outside barn area that he was allowed to sit on.
​
There is plenty of parking available in a hard surface carpark. Parking is free of charge.
While at the Atwell-Wilson Motor Museum, there is nowhere at the attraction to purchase food. You can bring your own picnic and sit on the grass area outside the attraction.

When we visited, our eldest was almost 2 years old and our youngest was 5 months old. We found this to be a fun family trip and is best suited to those who have an interest in vehicles.

We found one block of toilets outside by the main entrance.
​
The paths were smooth which meant we did not struggle to push our pushchair around. There was also a ramp to get to the lower level.
​
Overall, we would visit again if we were in the area. When we saw staff, they were friendly and helpful to us. There were many vehicles to view, and we loved the fact they had a small area for children, however there were no food facilities and no gift shop, therefore we have rated this day out 4 stars out of 5.
