We spent around 1 1/2 hours there. However, if we picked some fruit for example strawberries we could have spent another hour here.

At Lotmead PYO there were a variety of animals including chickens, goats and donkeys in the farm area. There is large play park, farm shop and a pick your own area where you can pick strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, rhubarb and much more (at an additional cost).

Our favourite part was the play park. Even when the park got busy there was still a lot of play equipment for all the children to play with without it feeling overcrowded.

There are plenty of parking available in a grass carpark. Parking was free of charge.

While at Lotmead PYO you can get food in their farm shop as they also have a cafe menu. Prices seemed to be in line for what you would expect at a typical farm shop. There were a few picnic benches outside in the attraction to enjoy a picnic.

When we visited this attraction, our eldest was 2 1/2 years old and our youngest was 10 months old. We found this day out to be enjoyable, no matter your age. However, we felt the play equipment was more suitable for children between the ages of 3–12-year-olds.

We found one set of toilets by the farm shop.

We found the attraction to be grass flooring, however we did not struggle to push the pushchair around as they kept the grass well maintained.

Overall, we would visit again if we were in the area. When we saw staff, they seemed friendly and helpful. The farm section didn't have the biggest variety of animals and we felt there could have been more toilets at the attraction, however we found it a great priced day out with a play park the boys loved. Therefore, we have rated this day out 3 1/2 stars out of 5.
