The East Anglia Transport Museum is often to the public Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sunday 12pm-4pm.

We spent around 3 hours there. This did include sitting in the cafe to have some food, however if the weather wasn't as hot that day, we could have easily spent the last opening hour here.

At the East Anglia Transport Museum there were two trams (one single and one double), a double decker bus and train to ride. The museum was outside and was layed out similar to an old village. There were shops you could look through the windows of, rooms to walk in to learn the history of the transport vehicles and a stamp trail. There was also a cafe and tearoom.

Our favourite part was being able to ride on the vehicles. At the entrance of the attraction you were given an old fashioned bus ticket. Once on the trams and bus these were hole punched by a ticket person. Riding the vehicles was included in your entrance fee and you could go on them as many times as you wished.

There is plenty of parking available. Parking spaces were on a hard dust surfaced flooring. Disabled spaces were also available.

While at the East Anglia Transport Museum there were two places where food could be purchased. We were shocked by how little was charged for the food. While there we purchased 4 cakes and 4 drinks from the tea room and 2 portions of chips from the cafe, which came to a total of just under £14. There were also a few picnic benches in a grassed area to enjoy a picnic.

When we visited, our eldest was 3 years old and our youngest was 22 months old. We found this to be a fun family trip as there was something there for everyone to enjoy.
We found one block of toilets around including disabled and changing facilities. The cubicles had lots of space in them and were clean.

We didn't take the pushchair with us, however the paths and roads were flat and there was a buggy/wheelchair parking area by ride on trams and bus which is located next to the entrance.
Overall, we would visit again if we were in the area. When we saw the volunteers they were friendly and smartly dressed. We loved everything about this day out. The only let down was their opening days and times, therefore we have rated this day out 4 1/2 stars out of 5.
