We spent around 2 1/2 hours there. This did include a small picnic.

At Daisy May's Farm, there were animals such as pigs, goats and chickens to see, play areas, woodland stamp trail, petting area and a train.

One of our favourite parts of Daisy May's Farm was the petting area. We were able to hold chicks and ducklings, feed kids (baby goats) and stroke piglets. To be able to stroke the piglets, we were allowed to climb into the piglet pen which allowed us to get close to them.

Our other favourite part was the train ride. This was an additional £2 per person. While going round the track, there was a counting carrot game with a small prize being given at the end (sticker/mini chocolate egg).

There was an adequate amount of parking available. Parking spaces were on a dirt/gravel style flooring.

While at Daisy May's Farm there was one place where food could be purchased, which the prices seemed reasonable. There were also plenty of picnic benches around to enjoy a picnic.

When we visited, our eldest was 3 years old and our youngest was 21 months old. We found this to be a fun family trip and felt there was something for every age.

We found two small sets of toilets around, however we did not find disabled toilets or baby changing facilities. We did find the toilets quite claustrophobic once the cubicle doors were shut and found them to be similar to a portaloo.

We didn't take our pushchair around the farm, however we did see others with pushchairs. The paths were dried mud, which we found quite smooth when it was sunny, however this may become muddy when it rains.

Overall, we would visit again if we were in the area however we wouldn't travel especially. We found the price per person for entry reasonable and loved how the petting area was, especially as there were some goats etc that were allowed to roam free, however we were slightly underwhelmed when we arrived by how it looked on first appearance. Two of the stamps for the woodland stamp trail did not work, the metal gates for the play areas didn't close properly (which isn't entirely a problem as children should be supervised but children can be escape artists as it is, without giving them an easy way out) and we found some of the outdoor toys to be broken in some way, so have rated this day out 3 stars out of 5.
